I. GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Scientific name: Cynoglosus Robustus & Cynoglossus Bilineatus

Diagnostic features:Caudal fin joined to dorsal and anal fins. Eyes both on the left side of the body, a narrow space separating them. Ocular side with 2 lateral lines. Irregular dark brown blotches on eyed side.

Distribution: in the Gulf of Tonkin, Central waters and Southern waters.

Fishing season: all year around, more abundant from September to April.
